Privacy PolicyBT System for Android
Effective 27 October 2026 · Applies to BT System
com.rw.BTSystem
In one sentence: the app collects nothing. It requests no network permission, communicates with no server, and performs all its work locally over Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) advertising. Nothing you do in the app leaves your device, and the Developer has no way to see it.
1Who is responsible, and how to reach us
BT System (the “App”) is developed and published by an independent individual developer (the “Developer”), who is the sole party responsible for the personal information practices described in this policy.

The address above is for questions about the App and this policy. It is an ordinary email address that you write to from your own mail app; the App is not involved in that correspondence and holds nothing from it.
2What the App does and how it runs
The App is a companion remote for a Bluetooth vehicle receiver. It sends five commands — lock, unlock, mute, locate, and open trunk.
- Commands travel from your phone to the receiver mounted on your vehicle as BLE advertising Manufacturer Data.
- This is point-to-point wireless communication within the same physical space. It does not traverse the internet, any server, or the Developer.
- The App runs entirely offline. There is no account system, no sign-in, and no cloud service.
3Information the app does not collect
The App itself does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share with any third party any of the following:
- Name, phone number, or other contact details;
- Accounts, passwords, or any form of credential;
- Precise or approximate location;
- Device identifiers, advertising ID, IMEI, MAC address, or other device-identifying information;
- Contacts, SMS, call logs, photos, files, microphone, or camera content;
- Usage behaviour, crash logs, diagnostics, or any analytics data.
Because the App holds no network permission, none of the above has a technical path off your device.
4Permissions the App requests, and why
The App requests only Bluetooth-related permissions, used solely to send the advertising frames described in section 2:
| Permission | Purpose |
|---|---|
BLUETOOTH_ADVERTISE |
Sends BLE advertising frames — the App’s core function |
BLUETOOTH_CONNECT |
Checks Bluetooth state and starts advertising on Android 12 and above |
BLUETOOTH / BLUETOOTH_ADMIN |
Used only on Android 11 and below, for the same advertising function |
The App does not request INTERNET, nor location, storage,
contacts, camera, microphone, or any other permission.
5Local storage on your device
To remember your preferences, the App stores two settings in its private app directory on your device:
- the licence plate number you entered;
- the sound toggle state.
This data lives only on your device and is readable only by the App. It is never uploaded, never backed up to the Developer, and is deleted when you uninstall the App. The Developer cannot access it.
6Third-party components
The App integrates no third-party SDK of any kind, including advertising, analytics, crash reporting, push notifications, social login, or payment components. It contains no tracking technology.
7Sharing, transfer, and disclosure
The Developer collects no personal information through the App, so there is no sharing, transfer, or public disclosure of personal information to any third party, and none is provided to anyone for commercial purposes. Nothing is sold, rented, or used for advertising.
8Retention and deletion
The Developer operates no server and keeps no database, so there is no account, profile, or cloud record to delete. The plate and sound settings the App stores live only in the App's private storage on your device and are removed at once by uninstalling the App; clearing the App's data in Android settings has the same effect.
9Your rights
To the extent provided by the law of your jurisdiction, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint. Because the App collects no personal information, the Developer holds nothing about you to access, correct, or delete.
10Children’s privacy
The App is not offered as a standalone service to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App collects no personal information at all, this cannot occur.
11Changes to this policy
If the App’s features or data practices change, the Developer will update this policy and revise the effective date at the top of the page. If a change involves collecting personal information, the Developer will notify you through an in-app notice or a prominent notice on this page before it takes effect.
The current version of this policy is always published on this page, without requiring a login or a permission request to view.
12Contact
For any question, comment, or complaint about this policy, email memvia@outlook.com. The Developer will respond within a reasonable period.
